| Being confident enough to overtake slower-moving traffic is essential if you are to maintain progress, but - this is the most dangerous manouevre of them all - get it wrong the first time and you might not live to get it right the second time. If your planning and observations are good, and you handle the car correctly, there should be no reason why you should refuse the opportunity to overtake when it arises, Just remember....
